DIY Fizzy bath powder
Have you ever used a bath powder? It's very similar to a bath bombs, but much easier to make. It also smoothes the skin and it sparkles in water.
If you add a colored dye to it, it will color the water. You will find a recipe for it below. 😊
Diy fizzy Bath Powder
• baking soda - 8 tbsp
• citric acid - 4 tbsp
• potato strach - 4 tbsp
• sea salt - 4 tbsp
• oil (I used almond oil) - 1 tbsp
• favorite essential oil (I used orange ) - 10 drops
• dye or mica for the color - optional
Preparation:
• Pour dry ingredients into a bowl and mix thoroughly.
• add oil and essential oil
• mix until there are no lumps
• add dye / mica and mix
• put the powder into a jar and that's all. It's Ready! 😊
Add 4-5 tablespoons of powder to the bath.
The powder is best used in a month.
Have a nice bath!

DIY Eco Candles from Leftovers and Soy Wax | Zero Waste

I love the moment when I turn on my favorite tv series in the evening, and the beautiful smell of candles and their magical flame relaxes me. Thanks to them, it's so cozy and warm.
Probably many of you have similar feelings to me, but not all candles are good for our health. Unfortunately, paraffin candles mound, and produce volatile soot. Today I'll show you how to make candles from soy wax and from the remains of candles.
Why choose soy wax:
- It is a natural vegetable wax obtained from soybeans
- It is 100% environmentally safe and biodegradable
- It is suitable for allergy sufferers, and due to the lack of chemistry also for people with migraines
- It burns at a lower temperature so you can't get burned
- Burns longer than paraffin candles and has a more intense smell
- No cinders, so it doesn't raise the level of CO2 in the atmosphere
- Produces 90% less volatile soot
As you can see, soywax has many pluses, but if you don't have it at home to make candles you can use old candles. This solution is also ecological, because we use the remnants that we would throw away in it.

How to make wicks:
What you will need:
- Soy wax or old candles
- Small-diameter cotton twine
- Baking paper
How to make a step-by-step wick:
1.We cut the string to make it a little bigger than the height our candle will have
2.Melt the wax in a water bath.
3.When it is liquid, we place a piece of string in it
4.Wax-coned string, pull out, straighten and lay on baking paper.
5.The string is best to bend in the shape of the letter L. Then we will be able to lean it against the bottom of the jar into which we will pour candles.

How to make candles?
What you will need:
- Soy wax or old candles
- Knot
- Jar
- Washing buckles or skewers and buckles
- Essential oil in your favorite fragrance (optional)
- Food dye (optional)
How to make candles step by step:

1.Do clean jars, we put the wick and hook it with a smaller hole in the buckle. If your jar is larger and the buckle falls inside, you can attach a buckle or clip of the wick to a stick from the skewers.

2.We cut the remnants of the candles into smaller pieces to melt faster.
3.Wax / remnants of candles melt in a water bath.
4.When the wax will have a liquid form, we can add to it a favorite essential oil (about 10-20 drops) and a few drops of food dye and mix everything.

5.Carefully pour wax into jars, taking care that the wick is in the middle.
6.When the wax concentrates, remove the buckles and cut the wicks at a height of 1-1.5 cm. And that's it! The candle is ready :)

If you have trouble finishing the dish where you did a water bath with wax, it is best to pour hot water into it and wait for the wax to melt, then wash it with liquid / dishsoap.
Do you like candles? What's your favorite fragrance?

Today I'll show
you two easy and quick recipe for lotion
bars.
Lotion bar is a
great cosmetic for trips or for people who need a strong hydration and
regeneration.
I usually uses it
for hand, foot or dried skin.

Recipe I
What you will need:
2 tablespoons
cocoa butter
2 tablespoons
shea butter
1 teaspoon oil (I
used sweet almond oil)
15 drops of your
favorite essential oil (I used lavender)
Spoon vitamin E
Optional:
Dried flower petals
Spoon
Bowl
Pot
Silicone mold
Recipe II
What you will need:
2 tablespoons
shea butter
1 tbsp carnauba
wax
2 tablespoons oil
(I used sweet almond oil)
15 drops of your
favorite essential oil (I used orange)
Teaspoonsa
vitamin E
Optional:
Dried flower
petals
____________________
Bowl
Pot
Silicone mold
Preparation:
In both recipes the
preparation is almost identical, the only different thing is adding wax. 😉
I start with the
preparation of a water bath.
I fill the pot
with water and on it I put a bowl, to which I put butter (+ wax).
I set the stove
to a low temperature so as not to bring the water to a boil.
When the butter
dissolves I add oil and vitamin E.
I mix the
ingredients and add essential oil.
Optional:
I put a teaspoon
of flower petals in the molds and pour mixture so that it obscures the petals.
I wait until it
cools down and pour the rest of the mixture.
In this way,
flower petals won’t go to the top of the lotion. 😊
If you don’t use
flower petals, you can pour the whole mass into a mold.
Now I put the
lotions for 24 hours in the refrigerator and after that time they’re ready to
use. You can use lotions about 6 months. It’s best to store them in a can/
container so that they don’t dust and dissolve.
Do you use lotion
bar?

| Eco cleaning - simple recipes for home cleaning products | Zero Waste |
Eco cleaning products are safe for
children and for us, they don’t pollute the environment and those made at home
are much cheaper than shop chemistry. In this post, I will share with you a few
recipes for basic cleaning products such as: furniture, glass or bathroom
spray.
Spray for glass:
• 400 ml of warm water
• 2 tablespoons of vinegar
• 2 tablespoons of isopropyl alcohol
• 1 tablespoon of corn starch
• 10 drops of essential oil
Preparation:
Add starch to the water. Mix. Add the rest
of the ingredients to water with starch and mix.
Usage:
Spray onto the glass surface and wipe with
a cloth or paper.
All purpose spray:
• 400 ml of warm water
• 2 tablespoons of vinegar
• 1 teaspoon of borax
• 10 drops of essential oil
Preparation:
Preparing in gloves. Add ingredients to
water and mix.
Usage:
Pour the liquid on the chosen surface and
rub with a cloth or sponge and rinse.
Furniture spray:
• 400 ml of warm water
• 3-4 tablespoons of vinegar
• 1 tablespoon of glycerine
• 10 drops of essential oil
Preparation:
Add ingredients to water and mix.
Usage:
Pour the liquid onto the selected surface
and rub with a cloth.
Bathroom cleaning liquid:
• 400 ml of warm water
• 2 tablespoons of Castilian soap
• 1 tablespoon of baking soda
• 10 drops of essential oil
Preparation:
Add ingredients to water and mix.
Usage:
Pour the liquid on the chosen surface and
rub with a cloth or sponge and rinse.
Drain cleaner:
• ½ glass of borax
• 2 cups of hot water
Preparation:
Preparing in gloves. Add borax to water and
mix.
Usage:
Use in gloves! Pour the mixture into the
clogged siphon. After 15 minutes, rinse with plenty of water.
Which essential oils to choose:
Lavender oil
Lemon oil (poisonous for cats)
Orange oil
Grapefruit oil
Rosemary oil
Peppermint oil
Eucalyptus oil
Clove oil
Tea tree oil (poisonous for cats)
These
oils have antibacterial and antiseptic properties.
Of course, you can combine oils to get an
interesting smell.
The combination of lavender with lemon and
rosemary gives a fresh, herbal scent.
A clove with orange has a beautiful
spicy scent.
Orange and lemon combined with grapefruit
have a fresh, citrus scent perfect for summer.
Mint oil with eucalyptus smells like sweet
mints.
And eucalyptus oil with lemon will bring a
breath of freshness to your home.
Although these products are ecological, we
should save our hands and clean in gloves. Ingredients such as citric acid or
borax aren’t as harmful as chlorine or chemistry contained in some cleaning
products, but can irritate the skin.
For storing these spray cleanrs, I
recommend using Ikea sprinklers (they are very cheap and durable), and if you
avoid plastic, you can use glass bottles with a narrow neck and try to match
them to the sprinklers on the means that you used.
I used atomizers after the spray from Frosh
and matched them to the apple vinegar bottles.

| Eco clothing washing - recipe for washing powder, fabric softener, washing crystals | Zero waste |
In today's post, I will show you some recipes for eco washing powder, fabric softener, washing crystals and stain remover. | Fabric Softener Recipe Zero Waste |
Fabric softener: (first recipe)
Ingredients:
Warm water - 200 ml
Vinegar - 800 ml
Essential oil - 20 drops
Preparation:
I pour warm water into a glass bottle, add vinegar and essential oil. I mix the ingredients.
What I like the most is the essential oil of lavender or mint. Washing then smells fresh and clean.
Usage:
I pour 4 tablespoons of liquid into the compartment for the rinsing liquid.
Fabric softener: (second recipe)
Ingredients:
Warm water - 70%
Citric acid - 30%
Essential oil - 20 drops
Preparation:
I put Citric acid in a glass bottle and pour it in warm water (I don’t use hot water to keep the bottle from breaking). I add the essential oil and shake the bottle to dissolve the acid.
Usage:
I pour 3 tablespoons of liquid into the compartment for the rinsing liquid.
Crystals for washing:
Ingredients:
Sea salt or epsom - 1 ½ cup
Baking soda - ½ cup
Essential oil - 20-30 drops
Preparation:
I mix all the ingredients and put them in a jar.
Usage:
At the bottom of the washing machine drum pour 2-3 tablespoons of crystals.
Attention! Salt and soda can have color-rinsing properties, so it's better to use crystals for bright colors of clothes.
Stain remover:
Sodium percarbonate has whitening properties.
For hand washing, add 2 spoons of percarbonate to 3 liters of water. Dip clothes with stains in solution and wash after 2 hours.
For washing in the washing machine add 2 tablespoons powder and set the washing at 40 degrees.

Several tricks for eco-friendly laundry:
• You can reuse jars for making washing powder or softener, for example: a larger jar after cucumbers or bottles after juice
• If you are looking for a good stain remover without plastic, you will find stain removers in bar in the drugstores. They are very efficient and wash the stains well
• If you watn to buy cloth clips, the bamboo clips are more ecological than plastic ones
• When the weather is nice, use it and hang laundry outside
• If you take home your cloth clips after removing the laundry, they will serve you longer
What are your eco washing tricks?
