Affordable and good under eye powder – Kobo Professional Under Eye Brightening Powder

Kobo Professional Under Eye Brightening Powder

Recently, in drugstores there are powders dedicated for under the eyes. They have a light texture, are very soft and most often have brightening properties. Today I’ll tell you about a great vegan powder from Kobo Professional. Kobo is cruelty free company.

What the manufacturer says:

Brightening and fixative eye powder.
The satatous formula visually smoothes wrinkles and illuminates the dark circles under the eyes.
It can be used on the concealer to fix it or directly on the skin, also the entire face.

My opinion:

Powder fits in a simple jar with a strainer. Its capacity is 6 grams. Fortunately, the packaging is sliding, so the powder doesn’t spill. However, the strainer has quite large holes, so you need to pour powder very gently. I put them away in 1/3 and pour it a little on the cap. The cap is small, but it fits a bigger powder brush in it.

The powder is very strongly ground and  smoothes the skin perfectly. Powder can be applied to the eyes as well as on the whole face. I usually apply it with a smaller brush under my eyes, and the larger one on the cheeks and forehead. It can also be applied with a sponge, but I recommend using it in a small amount, so that it doesn’t whiten the face.

The powder contains silica, which nicely dissipates light and smoothes wrinkles. Unfortunately, it also causes flashback, so it’s best to use powder for the day. If you want to use a powder for photos with a lamp, it will be best to mix it with a powder that has color.
Powder doesn’t emphasise lines and beautifully illuminates the area under the eyes (although there are no glitter particles). It keeps on the face all day and fortunately doesn’t dry out the skin.

Despite the small weight is very efficient, I have been using it every day for two months and I haven’t even consumed half the package.

What is your favourite powder?

Xoxo
Dorota
