Vegan Makeup for Hot Weather |
My makeup for hot weather must be
light and durable. Usually, I use creamy products to make it, which doesn’t
look bad and cakey under the influence of heat. Often, on warmer days, I focus
on the strong, but natural eyebrows and the brighter color of the lips,
although this makeup looks good with a nude lipstick. If you want to see what
cosmetics I used to make this makeup, I invite you to the rest of the post!

I start my daily makeup by preparing my
complexion. Usually I use a cream that in the warmer days I change into matting
serum and cream with Spf filter. Despite the fact that I have a dry complexion
on hot days, I like reaching for matting emulsion from Dr.Konopka's. This
emulsion has a pouring consistency (a bit like makeup removal milk), it isn’t
oily and it absorbs very quickly. Makeup lasts longer and the emulsion
moisturizes the skin well. Then I apply the Spf 50 filter from Floslek to the
emulsion. Don’t let the name of this filter fool you, it isn’t a gel. Although
it doesn’t leave white cast on the skin and have a light consistency, but
unfortunately you have to wait a few minutes before it absorbs.

On hot days I give up the foundation,
I don’t like to feel it on my skin and I’m afraid that I will often have to
improve it. Instead of the foundation, I put on the concealer. I often reach
for the Pierre Rene Contour Concealer, which has a very light consistency, good
coverage and looks natural. Under the eyes I use shade 01 and shade 09 to
contour the face. It’s a nice neutral brown that fits perfectly into my
complexion. When I use it, the face gains a slightly tanned appearance, brushed
with the sun. 😊

Then I
use the highlighter, which is My Secret Face Strobing. This is a beautiful
highlighter in a cream formula that gives the glowy effect. It has a neutral,
light shade, and its intensity can be graded.

Now the time has come for the powder - AA
Wings of Color mineral powder, which I apply with a fluffy brush under my eyes
and places where I haven’t applied creamy products.
On warmer days, I focus on proven products.
And such a cosmetic is for me Physicians Formula Brow Last in a shade of Medium
Brown. This is a WunderBrow style product. It has the consistency of a gel,
which, as it stands, can’t be moved, neither the rain nor the heat can threaten
it. I put it on Maestro 660 brush, because the brush attached to the product is
quite thick and not very precise.

Then I use Catrice Brow Colorist in shade 015
on my eyebrows, which keeps the hair in place throughout the day.
When It’s really hot I only apply powder on
my eyes and I focus on decent eyelash with mascara. I recently using Essence
Get Big Lashes Volume Curl Mascara. This mascara doesn’t scatter and smudge and
so far works well, even on hot days.

In summer makeup routine I often put accent
on my lips. Recently I liked lip glosses that don’t require a super accurate
application and are quick to use. The one you can see in the picture is
Alkemilla Febe.
The last step in my makeup is setting the
spray. I’m recently using up a spray from Wet'n'Wild - Photo Focus Natural
Finish Setting Spray. This setting spray is very good, prolongs the durability
of the makeup and doesn’t dry out the complexion, its only disadvantage is a
very chemical smell. But I used the word I using up because it has recently
turned out that Wet'n'Wild is entering the Chinese market and is no longer free
cruelty. ☹
And what is your makeup on hot days? Do you
know any good setting spray?
xoxo,
Dorota
