e.l.f. Beautifully Bare Natural Glow Face Palette – Makeup palette for pale skin tones |
When I was in Canada recently, I saw
a face makeup palette from e.l.f. I have never used cosmetics from e.l.f. but I
have heard very good opinions about them. It’s a company that doesn’t test on
animals and has a lot of products for vegans in its offer. This palette has a
light, delicate shade of bronzer and subtle shades of blushes, so I thought it
would be perfect for my fair complexion. If you are interested in how it works
and whether it will be a good palette for pale people, I invite you to the next
part of the blog post.

What the producer says:
This three-in-one e.l.f. Cosmetics
Beautifully Bare Natural Glow Face Palette with a bronzer, highlighter, and two
blushes creates a flawless look that's beautiful and natural looking. The
lightweight silky formula is perfect for sculpting and adding soft, natural
looking dimension to the face. With a mixture of complementary matte and shimmer

My opinion:

The palette has a nice silver
packaging in a minimalist style. In the middle you will find quite a big mirror
and 4 powders (2 roses, bronzer and highlighter). Powders have a velvety
formula with a delicate pigmentation that can be built. It’s an ideal product
for people who have a pale complexion or are learning how to do makeup. They
blend in well with the skin and if you expect a stronger effect with a few
layers, they don’t look bad.
Bronzer has a light shade with warm tones.
It’s matte, but it isn’t a flat mat. It looks very healthy on the skin.
Blushes have subtle, light shades. Both
have peach tones. One is brighter and pinky, while the other is a little darker
and muted. They are also matte, but they look healthy and glowy on the face.
The highlighter is the only product I have
something to complain about. It isn’t bad, but it has a fairly dark hue and,
unfortunately that’s visible on my skin. Perhaps I will use it more often in
summer, but it gives a rather subtle effect and looks best when applied applied
with a wet brush.
I think that this palette is worth trying,
especially by people who have a pale complexion and find it difficult to find light
products for contouring and warming the face. However, I’m not satisfied with
the selection of the highlighter's shade and I would prefer a lighter color
chosen for the palette.
The price of the pallet is 8$. I bought my
palette in Winners for 5 CAD.
Xoxo,
Dorota
