 Essential oils are natural plant extracts that have healing, stress and antibacterial properties.   
 They are most commonly used for aromatherapy, but they can also be added to cosmetics or home-made cleaning products.  
 Today I will show you 10 ideas for using essential oils that I use most often.

Essential oils are usually produced by distillation of different parts of plants and are in 100% of natural plant extracts. They usually have one, pronounced aroma.  

Fragrance oils are a blend of natural oils with synthetic fragrances, usually created to produce more complex fragrances. They do not have a purely natural origin and medicinal properties.

  1. 1. Relaxing Bath  

I really like to add the essential oil to my bath lavender. This oil relaxes the muscles, has a relaxing and soothing properties. After such a bath I feel relaxed and ready to sleep.  
For one bath I add 5-10 drops of essential oil.  
  1. 2. Essential oil burner 

Essential oil burner is probably the most popular way to use essential oils.  Not surprisingly, a small fireplace can fill a room with a beautiful fragrance for a few hours.  
I poured a warm but not hot water into the fireplace and added 5-10 drops of essential oil and then I lit a candle underneath it. I often mix essential oils. I really like the combination of peppermint and eucalyptus which gives a fresh fragrance, and for the winter orange with clove or cinnamon.  
  1. 3. Massage Oil  

With essential oils you can also easily make a relaxing or anti-cellulite massage oil.  
To make anti-cellulite oil you will need 50ml oil, 10 drops of orange oil and 10 drops of clove or cinnamon essential oil. Mix everything and oil is ready to use. 
And for a relaxing oil you will need a 50ml of oil, 10 drops of lavender oil and 10 drops of vanilla oil,  if you like the scent of flowers you can also add a few drops of ylang-ylang essential oil. 
I usually use oil, which I just have at home, but if you want your oil to be absorbed quickly, you can use argan oil or sweet almond oil.  
This oil can be used for 6 months and should be stored in a dark place.  
  1. 4. Lavender Spray for Sleep  

Often when I can’t sleep I spray bedding with the lavender oil.   
I poured the water into the spray bottle and added a few drops of lavender oil. Remember to add just a few drops of essential oil because it has a very strong fragrance. When sprays bedding I try to get past the pillows so that the oil doesn't get into the eye.

  1. 5. Fragrances sticks 

Do you know that fragrances sticks can be done by yourself at home?  
It’s certainly more natural than this from the store and its preparation doesn’t take long time.  
You will need a small jar fill with distilled or filtered water, then you need to add 20 drops of the selected essential oil and add 1 tablespoon of alcohol.  
And as a sticks you can use sticks to skewers.  
  1. 6. Acne Treatment  

Whenever I have a pimple on my face I put tea tree oil on it and the next day is much smaller or quite disappear.  
You can also add a few drops of tea tree essential oil or lavender to your home-made clay mask. They have an antibacterial effect and soothe inflammation.  
  1. 7. Nice smell when vacuuming your home  

When vacuuming your home, you can add a few drops of oil to your filter or pipe from your vacuum cleaner.  
Oils with antibacterial properties include lavender, lemon, orange, rosemary, clove and tea tree oil.

  1. 8. Closet refresher  

Essential oils are also a good way to have a natural refresher from a closet that will scare a mole.  
To prepare it you can sprinkle a little black green tea or dried lavender in a piece of material and add 15-20 drops of lavender oil. And then tie the material and the refresher is ready.  
  1. 9. Shampoo or hair mask  

If you want to enhance the effect of your shampoo or hair mask, you can add 10 drops of essential oil to a 100ml shampoo or mask.  
Lavender oil has antibacterial properties, regulates sebum secretion, helps with hair loss  
Rosemary Oil Acts anti-dandruff and helps with hair loss  
Tea tree oil has antifungal properties, anti-inflammatory, helps in the fight against dandruff and przetłuszczaniem of the scalp  
Cinnamon oil stimulates circulation, increases hair growth  
Eucalyptus oil stimulates circulation, increases hair growth, acts anti-dandruff  
Lemon oil is microbicide, Przeciwgrzybiczny, refreshing and anti-dandruff (attention can lighten hair)  
Peppermint oil stimulates circulation, relieves irritation, has a refreshing action  
  1. 10. Inhalations  

I use inhalations most often when I have a runny nose, but if I feel stressed I like to inhale with lavender oil which works calming.  
Oils that help the runny nose are: Tea tree oil, eucalyptus, pine and mint.  
I add 15 drops of essential oil to the inhaler and take the inhalation for 10-15 minutes  

Remember to not use essential oils during pregnancy, breastfeeding and toddlers, before consulting your doctor.  
Do not apply them directly to your skin in addition to tea and lavender tree oil.  
Without consulting your doctor, don't use them internally.  
If you have cats beware of the essential oils of lemon and tea tree because they are poisonous to them.
