Vegan hair pomade Dear Barber Fibre Shaper |
For a long time I searched for a suitable paste
for my hair (it’s not so easy to find vegan hair styling products 😉 ) Some
time ago I found a Fibre shaper paste from Dear Barber company , which has a
vegan composition and the company is cruelty free. Still this is a little
disappointed and I'll tell you why.
What the manufacturer says:
Very strong water-based paste, based on the
technology of elastic fibers. Thanks to this innovative solution it is able to
keep even the most complicated hairstyles in the load. The product is designed
for fans of high-sensitivity pumps, which do not support the usual gel.
DearBarberFibre It offers a wet finish and a flawless hairstyle all day long.
Ingredients:
Aqua, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl stearate, PEG-100
stearate, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, VP/VA
copolymer, Dimethicone, Parfum, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin,
PEG-90M, Disodium EDTA, Limonene , Coumarin, Butylphenyl Methylpropional,
Alpha-Iso-methyl Ionone, Hydroxycitronellal, Linalool, Eugenol, Benzyl Alcohol.

My opinion:

Unfortunately I can’t agree with the
manufacturer's description. Hair pomade hasn’t fulfilled my requirements. With
a short hairstyle, the pomade well maintained the hair, but when the hair grew
its effect weakened. With a slight breeze of wind, the whole hairstyle broke
sideways.
The gel-water consistency sounds pretty good and
the smell is fresh and enjoyable, yet these are probably some of the few
advantages.
The composition presents itself decently, unfortunately,
it’s hard to tell me whether the price is adequate for the quality of the
product. The paste itself is very efficient, within 2 months in the case of
20ml I consumed half.
In conclusion, the paste hasn’t fulfilled my
requirements. I think it’s much better for people with short hair.
I was left
looking for a more powerful styling product. Maybe you know any paste or pomade
worthy of trying?
Patryk :)
