  Today we come to you with the September beauty empties. 

In the summer, we didn’t use many cosmetics, but we have to share several body care, hair care and makeup products. If you are curious about which cosmetics we liked and will buy again and which we didn’t like so much, we invite you to the next part of the post.

BODY CARE 

ORGANIC SOAP, ALTERRA 

Dorota: I really like Alterra soaps, they are quite efficient, don’t irritate my skin and they have beutiful, natural scent. They are multitasking, I use them in the shower, to wash my hands in the kitchen, and sometimes I wash my face and makeup brushes. In addition, they are packed in a cardboard box that can be recycled. 

My favorite soaps are lavender and orange. 

I usually try to make my own soaps, but when I don’t have time, I always buy these soaps.

SHOWER OIL, ISANA 

Dorota: Isana shower oil leaves soft and moisturized skin. It has a delicate fragrance that doesn’t remain on the body after rinsing. I often used it to clean my face because it didn’t dry my skin. It is also great for cleaning brushes! 

If this oil wasn’t packed in plastic, I would definitely buy next package, but I try to be more eco-friendly and choose soap bars.

SHOWER GEL, WILD REBEL, ISANA 

Patryk: This gel has a nice, masculine, fresh fragrance that stays on the body for a long time. I also used it for facial hair and it worked very well in this role. I would be happy to buy another package, but unfortunately it was a limited edition.

EAU DE TOILETTE, ARBER, THE BODY SHOP 

Patryk: This is my favorite perfume for the evening! They have a nice, distinctive fragrance and they stay on the body for a long time. Ideally suited for night trips. I will probably buy a new package soon, although I am testing The Body Shop Kistna for now.

HAIR CARE

SHAMPOO AND SHOWER GEL 2in1, ALTERRA 

Dorota i Patryk: We put this 2in1 gel in the hair category because we most often use it to wash our hair. 

It has a delicate composition and cleans hair well. It doesn’t smell at all and doesn’t irritate the scalp. It is even suitable for people with a delicate scalp. 

We buy this shampoo quite often.

HAIR MASK, ALTERRA 

Dorota: This is my favorite hair mask! It has a natural composition, moisturizes the hair and has a beautiful, characteristic for this line fragrance. 

I haven’t found a mask or conditioner in the bar that would work so well, so I will definitely buy it again!

DRY SHAMPOO, BATISTE

Dorota: Batiste was my favorite spray shampoo, but since I started using natural products, I got allergic to it and I was very sore when I used it. I've just been doing a natural dry shampoo at home and I won’t buy those sprays anymore.

MAKEUP

SKIN BALANCE FOUNDATION, PIERRE RENE 

Dorota: Skin Balance is a great foundation for pale people who are looking for good cover. The shade champagne 20 is a really light shade with a delicate yellow tone. This foundation wasn’t bad, but sometimes when I had dry skin it looked cakey. Maybe it would be better for an oily or normal complexion. Now I use mineral foundations and I think I will stay with them. 

Price: € 15.75 / 30 ml 

EYEBROW MARKER, NYX 

Dorota: NYX Eyebrow Marker served me as a brown eyeliner. Hue 02 deep is a very warm shade of brown, which isn’t suitable for my eyebrows. I used this marker as an eyeliner. In this role it worked well, it nicely emphasized the blue eyes and wasn’t smudged. This product wasn’t bad, but it is quite expensive and the website looks different than it really is. I won’t buy it again. 

 Price: 8 € / 1.1 ml 

MEGA VOLUME MASCARA, WET'N'WILD 

Dorota: Mega Volume Mascara is a cheap thickening mascara. It stayed on eyelashes for quite a long time, it didn’t smudge or crumble, but it also didn’t give a wow effect. I like Lash Princess Sculped Volume mascara from Essences much more than this one and it has a similar price. 

Price: 4.69 € / 8 ml 

BROW PERFECTOR, SLEEK 

Dorota: The Eyebrow Gel from Sleek was very efficient and well done. I had it in a shade Light Brown, which had a light neutral colour. The gel looked very natural, slightly colored the hair and held it well. Unfortunately, it smudged a bit in the rain. Maybe I'll buy it again.
